The Media

At Sticker Girl the majority of our work falls into the following categories:-

Full colour print on vinyl - your design printed on the front, with an adhesive on the back
Pre coloured vinyl cut to your design - single coloured cut lettering and words
Full colour print on static cling - printed with your design, uses static to adhere to the window

New from July 2010:

We can now supply stickers and labels on rolls. These can be paper, vinyl or an even tougher plastic. More details will follow soon, in the meantime contact us for further information.

Full colour print on vinyl

Sticker Girl prints your design directly onto vinyl, an example of this would be bumper stickers. You can have full colour print for a colour explosion, or perhaps you have a three colour logo, or just what a simple black and white design; Sticker Girl can help with all of these and everything imbetween.

In the majority of cases we start with a standard white vinyl as the basis of your sticker. Another popular base is clear vinyl, but if you need a special effect, for example a sticker with a metallic effect, we can use a metallic vinyl as the base and print your sticker design onto it. Using different base vinyls gives us the ability to print amazing stickers and labels. Please don't hesitate to contact us whether you are after standard stickers and labels or something a little bit special.

Pre coloured vinyl cut to your design

Perhaps you want a name, phrase, website for your vehicle, boat or show window in a single colour? For this Sticker Girl would recommend cutting the lettering/words out of pre coloured vinyl. This can also be used for vehicle graphics that are single colour, i.e. a black tribal style decal. Remember the vinyl can be cut to any size and shape, your imagination is the only limit.

Full colour print on static cling

As with full colour print on vinyl, Sticker Girl prints your sticker or label design directly onto static cling. An example of this is car window stickers. These stickers have no adhesive as they use static to "stick" to the window. This means you can stick them on the inside of the window with your design or advert facing out for the world to see! Static cling stickers are repositionable, reuseable and easily removable; static cling leaves no adhesive residue behind. We can print onto either a clear static cling or for vibrant colours go for the white option.

Remember; you are not confined to a certain shape or size of sticker, anything goes, whatever you need just ask.

The Process

For quantity orders of stickers and labels these are the general steps that the Sticker Girl Process follows:-

Enquiry - We receive an enquiry requesting a quote, hopefully the enquiry will give us an idea of what stickers are required, along with size and quantity.
Quote - We respond usually within 24 hours, sometimes we might need further information to enable us to quote, but we will get the quote to you as soon as we are able.
Deposit - Once a price has been agreed we will send an invoice for the full amount - it is at this stage that we require an initial payment to be made as follows; if the order is £100 or less we require the full amount prior to the commencement of any work. If the order is over £100 we require 50% of the invoice prior to work commencing with the remaining 50% due upon delivery of the stickers. We require a deposit because if you change your mind after we have started printing we have already used materials, inks and consumables which cannot be recycled for another job, not to mention our time.
Artwork - As soon as we receive the deposit any artwork that needs to be undertaken will be done. This might be a full design, tweaking an existing design, converting a file to mkae it suitable for printing or if you have been kind enough to supply a CorelDraw or Illustrator file simply running it through the RIP software. At suitable points, where possible, we will email the artwork to you for your feedback - at this stage we are concentrating on the design and are not so concerned about the colours (but what about the colours?) When you are happy with the design, we will produce a printed proof of the actual sticker or label.
Sticker/Label Printed Proof - Provided we are not on a tight timescale, we will produce a printed proof of your stickers/labels with the same equipment, media and inks that will be used for the final product, and we will send this proof to you for your approval. It is at this stage that we want to make sure the colours are correct and that you are happy with the overall look of your sticker. The majority of the time we have already hit the nail on the head and the customer is happy with the proof, but if anything needs amending please tell us and we can put it right and send another sample.
Proof Approved; Printing/cutting commences - as soon as we have your approval of the proof we will add your job to the print/cut queue. We will next be in touch when the stickers are complete.
Delivery - If you are in the local area we try to make sticker and labels deliveries ourselves, further afield and we will use Royal Mail services. We currently offer free Uk standard delivery on all sticker and label orders. You are welcome to upgrade to a faster delivery service but will need to pay the difference between our free standard service and the price of the upgraded service.

About the Inks

The inks we use produce brilliant graphics and to keep those graphics looking so good the inks are water, scratch and UV resistant. These inks will last for up to three years outdoors without additional protection i.e. lamination. We can of course provide a lamination service should you require it.

The Cut

It's simple; your stickers and labels can be:-

Any size.
Any shape.

All our stickers are machine cut, that is why Sticker Girl can offer such variety and why your stickers do not have to fit our materials. The cutting is incredibly accurate, we can therefore cut literally any design with ease, even those more intricate ideas.

Sticker Girl can provide your stickers and labels in two formats;

Individually; which means we cut through both the sticker (be it static cling or vinyl etc) and the backing sheet so that your stickers pop out and are individual stickers, useful if your stickers are given out individually to be used at a later date for example perhaps you will sell them in a shop where it is likely only one would be bought at a time, or perhaps you run a mail order business and want to add one to each parcel as a customer giveaway.
Alternatively you can have your stickers in sheet format (these can be whatever sized sheets suit your needs). We remove the excess vinyl or static cling and leave just your stickers on the backing sheet, cut to a sheet size you request. A3, A4 and A5 sheets are quite popular, especially for example, at events where you are given a sticker to wear upon entrance.

Don't forget those finishing touch cutting options; perhaps you want a square sticker, but what about adding rounded corners? - it's no extra cost and produces a really pleasing result.

Whatever you want, Sticker Girl can produce it. The only limitation is your imagination.

Need your stickers or labels supplied on rolls, we are now able to offer this. Standard shape stickers and labels; squares, rectangles and circles, can be ordered in any quantity to be supplied on rolls. Specialised shape stickers can be supplied for quantities of 5,000 or more (we can of course still supply specialised shapes in sheet format or as individually cut out stickers).
